I really think that people who object to full body scans at airports are either ignorant or have something to hide. True, there will always be someone who tries to abuse the practice, but the alternative stinks. Also, being patted down and searched is more invasive.
There are only two things that have made airplanes safer since 9/11/01, and they are:

2.-Passengers understanding that they need to be vigilent and fight back.
#2 has been the most effective so far.
